James Marshall

James Marshall is a highly qualified Financial Planner and Executive Share Scheme (ESS) strategist who helps executives in mining and resources, health, biotech, pharmaceuticals, technology and construction to build wealth and protect their families throughout their careers in demanding industries.

His clients include executives from a wide range of disciples such as engineers (electrical, mechanical, maintenance), metallurgists, environmental scientists and specialists in occupational health and safety, that are either Australian based or expatriates.

James recognises that every client’s financial circumstance and life situation is different. Personally

James completed his Bachelor of Business, majoring in Finance at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Business School in 2010. He continues to maintain his ties with QUT as a Sessional Academic in the Accounting faculty where he teaches Superannuation, Regulation and Practice, Data Analysis and Personal Financial Planning. Dedicated to supporting the next generation of financial planners, James mentors QUT students, and has implemented internships and Master Classes which he plans and presents for Stratus Financial Group’s emerging financial advisers and our team generally.

James loves to travel, often to New Zealand where he has a large extended family. An avid walker, James remains fit exploring Australia’s national parks and further afield. Past itineraries have included Iceland, Denmark, Germany, Morocco and England, while he has plans to experience China and the East Coast of the USA in future.
