James is a CFP® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®) which is the highest financial planning designation issued by the Financial Planning Association of Australia and recognised as the gold standard of financial planning by 26 countries.

Working with high-earning executives and senior managers since 2014, James has a clear understanding of the challenges caused by the inherent complexity that comes with executive remuneration packaging and high stress environments that limits an executive’s time for attending to personal financial planning matters.

Blending his financial planning knowledge of wealth creation strategies that includes investments, superannuation, personal risk management with his in understanding of Executive Share Schemes, James takes the heavy lifting out of administering ESS compliance requirements.

An associate of Resources Unearthed, an information hub dedicated to providing access to qualified advice and support for mining and resources personnel, James demonstrates his considerable expertise and insight in his video: ESS: Key Considerations for your Executive Share Scheme.  While aimed at mining and resources executives, James’ knowledge and experiences are fully transferable to executives with ESS working in other business sectors.

Committed to continual learning, James continues to engage with Queensland University of Technology (his alma mater) and Griffith University as a lecturer and tutor in areas of Superannuation, Regulation & Practices, Data Analysis and Personal Financial Planning.
