Recently celebrating 20 years as a financial planner, Brett is Principal Adviser and Director of Stratus Financial Group and an Authorised Representative of Fortnum Private Wealth Ltd (ABN 54 139 889 535 AFSL 357306).

While a co-founder of Executive Strategies, in 2013 Brett also founded Resources Unearthed (formerly Mining Professionals Only) an information hub dedicated to providing mining and resources executives, professionals and business owners access to qualified advice and support.

Brett works tirelessly to help clients, who are mostly high-earning executives and professionals to achieve personal prosperity through carefully prepared and implemented personalised strategies. 

Committed to working collaboratively with experts in aligned professions, Brett is the mastermind behind the Executive Strategies ‘advice team’ model.  He has brought together respected professionals known for their expertise and leadership in areas of law, accounting and specialised tax matters, property and finance to work collaboratively with him to achieve financial planning and lifestyle goals for clients.

A former mining executive, Brett is an Executive Share Scheme (ESS) strategist who blends his own direct experience of executive remuneration packages with his considerable financial planning knowledge to assist executives to navigate the complexities of managing their ESS and their boarder financial affairs. 

Brett is well-versed in matters relating to remuneration packaging and the complex tax issues that affect income and an executive’s personal financial affairs. His observations include matters that can prevent high earning executives working in other high-pressure industries such as construction, health, biotechnologies, pharmaceuticals and government corporations from achieving financial, career and lifestyle goals.
